SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that the first class from 5.00 am to 6.00 am at Radha Swami Satsang Bhavan, near Sector 77, Mohali by trainer Rashiv; 2nd Class at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, Sector-78 from 6.05 am to 7.05 am; 3rd Class at Hero Homes Society, Sector-88, Mohali from 7.15 am to 8.15 am; 4th Class at Near Hemkunt School, Sector-71, Mohali from 8.30 am to 9.30 am; Fifth Class Phase-I is held at Paragon Park (Park-2) Mohali from 3.45 PM to 4.45 PM and Sixth Class at Sector, 71 (Park No. 33), Mohali from 5.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
He said that the daily practice of yoga is proving to be very beneficial for the mental and physical well-being of the body. Daily practice of yoga helps in getting rid of chronic diseases. He said that during the yoga sessions, there are some people who are regularly taking yoga classes and have made yoga a part of their daily life. Sandeep Sharma, who has been practicing yoga continuously for the past one and a half years, has found relief from thyroid and back pain. Similarly, Kiran Mahajan, who used to take Diva twice a day due to high blood pressure, has stopped his medication due to regular yoga asanas.
