Patiala, February 6- Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav reviewed the works of various schemes being run under rural development, during which she directed the officers to expedite the development works in the villages and complete as many development works as possible under various schemes and pay special attention to the ongoing development works and complete the pending works within the stipulated time.
Apart from this, progress report of the completed works should be prepared. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Anupreeta Johal was also present in the meeting. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner obtained information about the development works going on in the villages from the BDPOs and Executive Engineers of various departments and other senior officers and directed them to ensure that the benefits of all the schemes being run by the state government for the welfare of the people reach the eligible persons at the ground level.
While reviewing the various works being carried out in the villages, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to submit a report in the next monthly meeting regarding the action taken on the instructions given during the meeting, so that the work done during the month could be properly assessed.
