Nawanshahr- A meeting of the Kirti Kisan Union District Committee Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar was held in the grain market of Nawanshahr. During the meeting, District President Surinder Singh Bains, State Committee Member Bhupinder Singh Waraich and District Secretary Tarsem Singh Bains said that there was a thorough discussion to get the new agricultural market draft canceled and the demands accepted by the Modi government-2 implemented. The leaders said that a permanent dharna will be held in Chandigarh on March 5. For the preparation of which, meetings and rallies of farmers and cultivators will be held in the villages.
They further said that as per the decision of the United Kisan Morcha, a memorandum will be submitted to Member of Parliament Malvinder Singh Kang on February 9. On this occasion, it was demanded that questions be raised in the Parliament session by becoming the voice of the farmers to cancel the agricultural marketing policy, so that pressure can be put on the central government. 
On this occasion, Vice President Sohan Singh Atwal, Paramjit Singh Shahabpur, Surinder Singh Mehrampur, Jeevan Begowal, Avtar Singh Skohpur, Karnail Singh Udapar, Major Singh, Ram Ji Das Sanawa, Avtar Singh Udapar, Makhan Singh Bhanamjara and others were present.
