Mohali- As per the directions of SSP Mr. Deepak Pareek of Mohali, Mohali Police today suddenly launched a comprehensive checking campaign to strengthen the security arrangements in Mohali on the occasion of 26 January Republic Day. Under this campaign, Mohali Police checked the buses coming and going inside Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Bus Stand of Mohali Phase Six and also questioned the people coming and going. Vehicles were checked by blocking various parts of the city.
The police have appealed to the people to immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity in their vicinity. Apart from this, the police have also installed CCTV cameras at various places in view of security in the city.
The main objective of this checking campaign is to maintain peace and security in the city on the occasion of Republic Day. The police have assured that they will take every possible step to protect the city. And checking will be done everywhere.
