The look work on the road dug for canal water pipes is nearing completion

Patiala, October 7 - The repair work of the roads dug up due to the pipes being laid to supply 24-hour canal water to the city residents is going on at a fast pace. Sharing this information, Patiala Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajat Oberoi said that the work of Jheel Road connecting a dozen colonies including Ekta Vihar, Anand Nagar A and B, Deep Nagar, Ranjit Nagar, Vikas Nagar to Sirhind Road is about to be completed.

Sharing this information, Patiala Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajat Oberoi said that the work of Jheel Road connecting a dozen colonies including Ekta Vihar, Anand Nagar A and B, Deep Nagar, Ranjit Nagar, Vikas Nagar to Sirhind Road is about to be completed.
The Commissioner said that as per the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to overcome the problems being faced by the city residents due to broken roads, the work of these roads is being done soon under the leadership of Patiala Rural MLA and Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh and Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli.
He said that the repair work of the road behind the Central Jail, Ajit Nagar, Lady Fatima School Road, DLF Colony Road and the road from Jheel Road to Kohli Sweet is going on, which will be completed soon. The commissioner said that road work will soon be started in the areas of Manjit Nagar, Factory Area, DLF and Anand Nagar from Phulkin Enclave to Tripri. Therefore, the tender of Rs 4 crore has been passed and the work will start soon.
