Hoshiarpur- The holy martyrdom day of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji was celebrated with reverence in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Public School, Ladhewal Mahilpur as per the guidelines of Directorate of Education Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee under the arrangements of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
The students collectively recited Amritmayi Bani Shri Japji Sahib Ji. The students themselves recited Gurbani and presented Gurmat thoughts, the head Granthi of Gurdwara Shahid Sahib, Giani Harbans Singh Ji, offered Ardaas. On this occasion, religious teacher Surinder Kaur shared the teachings of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji with the children.
Principal Rajwinder Kaur Ji told the children that by learning from the life of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the epitome of sacrifice and the crown of martyrs, we can walk on the path of truth. Along with worldly education, the teachings of Gurmat can brighten the path of our life.
On this occasion, teachers like Madam Sandeep Kaur, Charanjit Kaur, Gurjit Kaur, Harjinder Kaur, Manjit Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, Daljinder Singh, Kamal Kumar, Harpreet Singh, Manmeet Singh, Neha Joshi, Amarjit Kaur, Santosh Bains, Ekta Gulati and Davinder Kaur were present in the Gurudwara along with the students.
