A huge Nagar Kirtan was taken out from Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan Sohana to Sri Fatehgarh Sahib in the memory of Mata Gujri Ji and Chote Sahibzadas.

SAS Nagar, December 28- A huge Nagar Kirtan was organised from the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan of nearby village Sohana to Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib in the sweet memory of Mata Gujri Ji and Chote Sahibzadas. This huge Nagar Kirtan started from Gurdwara Sahib under the patronage of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the leadership of the Panj Pyaras.

SAS Nagar, December 28- A huge Nagar Kirtan was organised from the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan of nearby village Sohana to Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib in the sweet memory of Mata Gujri Ji and Chote Sahibzadas. This huge Nagar Kirtan started from Gurdwara Sahib under the patronage of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the leadership of the Panj Pyaras.
In the Nagar Kirtan, the holy form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was seated in Palki Sahib decorated beautifully with flowers. In the Nagar Kirtan, the army bands and various bands were playing music while offering flowers of respect to the martyrs.
On this occasion, Gatka parties displayed the skills of Gatka. The Nagar Kirtan was welcomed by the people of the area. During this, the Ragi, Dhadi and Kirtani Jathas tried to connect the devotees with the Guru by singing stories of Sikh history and the sacrifices of the Sahibzadas.
On the way, devotees were served unbroken langar of bread pakoras, biscuits, milk and Karah Prasad. Devotees paid homage to the martyrs by joining this huge Nagar Kirtan on scooters, motorcycles, cars, jeeps, tractors, buses etc.
The spokesperson of Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan Sohana said that this huge Nagar Kirtan is organized every year to offer flowers of respect to the martyrs under the inspiration of Brahmalin Brahmgyani Gyani Sant Baba Ajit Singh Hansali.
He said that a religious program is being organized in the memory of Baba Moti Ram Mehra and Diwan Todar Mall on December 31 from 10 am to 12 noon. In which the Ragi Jathas of Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar and high class Dhadis, poets, saints and scholars will delight the devotees by reciting Harijas. Guru's unbroken langar will be served.
