
Collegiate School Students Conduct Educational Tour
Mahilpur, December 28- The students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate Senior Secondary School, located in the campus of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Mahilpur here, conducted an educational tour of Wagah Border and my village Amritsar. While sending off the students on this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh said that along with studies, such educational tours further develop the personality of the students.
Mahilpur, December 28- The students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate Senior Secondary School, located in the campus of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Mahilpur here, conducted an educational tour of Wagah Border and my village Amritsar. While sending off the students on this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh said that along with studies, such educational tours further develop the personality of the students.
During this tour, the students enjoyed various exhibitions related to Punjabi folklore, culture and folk life in our village Amritsar. During this, the students saw the grand parade of the Indian Army at the Wagah Border located on the India-Pakistan border. On this occasion, the students got information about the history of the parade from the army officers present after the parade.
The teachers of various departments who led the tour said that such tours are organized every semester to make the students of the Collegiate School aware of the culture, history and folk life of Punjab.
