
Red Cross Physiotherapy Centre is providing affordable physiotherapy services to victims/patients.

In view of its commitment towards public service and the increasing need for physiotherapy due to modern lifestyle, the Red Cross has started a new physiotherapy centre on Dagana Road.

In view of its commitment towards public service and the increasing need for physiotherapy due to modern lifestyle, the Red Cross has started a new physiotherapy centre on Dagana Road.
It has received a good response from the people since its inception. More than 100 OPDs have been done in just two months, which shows the need and trust in these services in the area. Giving information in this regard, District Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood said that this physiotherapy centre is being run by experienced Dr. Amandeep Kaur, who holds a degree in BPT and MPT (Orthopaedics) and has previously worked in renowned multi super specialty hospitals like Max Hospital, Delhi.
According to which, patients are being provided treatment with the help of modern equipment and scientific methods. District Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood said that Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Society Ashika Jain has ensured that every patient gets the benefit of physiotherapy center at affordable rates.
Therefore, the OPD fee has been kept at only Rs 70. People from every section can avail the services of this physiotherapy dispensary. He said that many patients have availed these services and shared their positive experiences. Meena Rani of Subhash Nagar, Street No. 4 said that due to back pain, she is not able to sit or stand properly.
She took treatment from a private physiotherapy center for a week, but it did not make much difference. Then she came to know about the Red Cross Physiotherapy Center through the newspaper. After a week of treatment, her condition improved a lot, her walking became easier and she can do her daily work easily.
Harvinder Singh, a resident of Dagana Road, said that he was suffering from neck pain. A friend told him about the Red Cross Center. After 10 days of treatment, his neck stiffness decreased, pain decreased and his walking also became normal. He said that this center is a ray of hope for patients like me and it is also much cheaper than other private centers.
Another local resident Pushpinder Singh, who was suffering from knee pain, came to know about this center through an advertisement board. Before the treatment, he was not even able to stand properly, but after 3-4 days of treatment, he felt a lot of improvement. Pushpinder praised Dr. Amandeep Kaur and said that she is very sensitive and understanding towards the patients. This health service of Rs 70 is very affordable for every citizen.
