
Deputy Commissioner orders all fertilizer dealers– No tagging in sale of subsidized fertilizer
Hoshiarpur: Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal has strictly ordered all fertilizer dealers not to do any kind of tagging in sale of subsidized fertilizer. This order has been issued to ensure proper and transparent distribution of fertilizer to the farmers, so that there is no misunderstanding or fraud in obtaining subsidized fertilizer.
Hoshiarpur: Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal has strictly ordered all fertilizer dealers not to do any kind of tagging in sale of subsidized fertilizer. This order has been issued to ensure proper and transparent distribution of fertilizer to the farmers, so that there is no misunderstanding or fraud in obtaining subsidized fertilizer.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the subsidized fertilizer should be made available to the farmers in a proper and transparent manner and any kind of tagging or imposition of additional charges should be prevented. This step has been taken so that the farmers can get the subsidized fertilizer at the right time and there is no lack of transparency.
The Deputy Commissioner has warned that no dealer will be allowed to do tagging or create any kind of misunderstanding in sale of subsidized fertilizer. Keeping in mind the proper distribution of fertilizers and the welfare of farmers, this message has been given to all fertilizer dealers. The Deputy Commissioner has strictly instructed all fertilizer dealers that if any kind of tagging is done by any dealer with subsidized fertilizers, then legal action will be taken against him. In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner said that strict action will be taken against the violating dealers under the Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985 and the Essential Commodities Act 1955.
