Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 11, 2024: Under the directions of the Directorate, Youth Services, Punjab, the drug de-addiction campaign is going on in full swing in the villages of the district. The clubs affiliated to the Youth Services Department, Baba Makhan Shah Lubana Youth Services Club Lubangarh and Youth Services Club Fatehgarh played an important role in the anti-drug campaign. A deep trend was seen among the residents of villages Fatehgarh and Lubangarh regarding the anti-drug campaign. This awareness program was organized by Sarfarosh Rangamang.
During the program, street plays, folk songs, bhands etc. were presented, which the villagers listened to with deep interest. During the program, not only were people told about the ill effects of drugs but also made aware about its prevention and control.
Captain Mantej Singh Cheema, Assistant Director, Youth Services Department, SAS Nagar, said that in fact, the common people need proper guidance and such awareness programs can prove to be very effective in providing proper guidance and can bring a lot of change in the lives of people.
Sarfarosh Rangmang and Youth Club President Dali Singh Shah, Vishal Singh, Mandeep Kumar, Mandeep Singh Lote, Gaurav, Varshdeep Singh, Aryan Mahajan, Shivam Sood etc. also made the people emotional by showing their artistic works.
