Hoshiarpur- With the joint efforts of Jarnail Mula Singh Sports Club, NRIs and villagers, a new tubewell work was started in the ground at a cost of Rs 7.5 lakh. With the construction of this tubewell, the youth of the village will get water facility for sports, sports will become common and the maintenance of the village ground will improve. Due to shortage of water for sports, the youth had to struggle at times, which will now be overcome through this tubewell.
Members of the NRI community and the village Gram Panchayat were present at the inauguration of this purposeful work. Sarpanch Hardeep Singh said that this work is the result of the village's solidarity and unity. Such efforts were needed for the welfare of the village and to divert the young generation towards healthy paths. He said that where development is happening at the government level, such efforts must also be made at the people's level.

On this occasion, all the villagers unitedly welcomed the commencement of the tubewell work and vowed to continue such joint efforts for the progress of the village in the future as well. They expressed hope that more development works like lighting and sports equipment would also be undertaken in the coming times.
