Patiala, November 8 - The workshop organized by Educational Multimedia Research Center (EMRC) at Punjabi University in collaboration with Department of Social Sciences and Ravi Research School has been completed. The workshop was aimed at imparting training in the finer points of the film medium in the field of research.
EMRC Director Daljit Ami informed about this and said that in this workshop on the topic of Visual Storytelling, Ph.D. from California Institute of Integral Studies, USA D Khojarthi Manjot Multani joined as expert.
He said that Manjot Multani is an emerging filmmaker and podcaster who is also working as a Fulbright Nehri Scholar in India. Daljit Ami explained that this academic activity was designed as part of the process of making the EMRC space a multi-disciplinary and multi-directional space so that the techniques needed to understand visual culture would be developed. can be educated about
Manjot Multani gave the students and researchers involved in the workshop an exercise to explore the nuances in them by showing films of different genres. Dr. Kiran from Department of Social Sciences and Prof. Surjeet Singh from Ravi Research School also participated in the workshop.
