Hoshiarpur - PMIDC has launched a 'Cleanliness Movement' campaign under Swachh Bharat Mission in all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Punjab. According to the scheduled schedule under this campaign, cleaning activities are being conducted in all the urban local bodies. 
In this connection, according to the instructions of Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur Amandeep Kaur, the entry points of the local city were cleaned under the leadership of Joint Commissioner Sandeep Kumar. 
The Sanitation Department of the Corporation carried out cleaning and beautification work on all the main entry roads of the city such as Tanda Road, Chintapurni Road, Jalandhar Road, Phagwara Road and Chandigarh Road. Along with this, the surrounding people were made aware to keep their constituency clean and not to throw garbage on the roads. 
Commissioner Municipal Corporation said that this campaign is being conducted from October 24 to November 7, 2024, under which cleaning activities will be conducted in different areas of the city every day. Also, many important steps will be taken to make the city clean and beautiful. 
The Municipal Corporation Commissioner appealed to the city of Wasia to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in making this campaign a success and to give their important contribution in making the city clean and tidy. Officials and employees of Sanitation Branch of Municipal Corporation were also present on this occasion.
