GRD Academy organized a transformative workshop on Emotional Intelligence

Ludhiana - As a major initiative aimed at improving the emotional health of students, GRD Academy organized a massive workshop on Emotional Intelligence on 25 October 2025 from 8 am to 1 pm. The aim of this workshop was to give the students the important ability to understand, control and express their emotions. thereby encouraging meaningful and positive encounters in a supportive school environment.

Ludhiana - As a major initiative aimed at improving the emotional health of students, GRD Academy organized a massive workshop on Emotional Intelligence on 25 October 2025 from 8 am to 1 pm. The aim of this workshop was to give the students the important ability to understand, control and express their emotions. thereby encouraging meaningful and positive encounters in a supportive school environment. 
The program, which was a resounding success, aimed to help students identify their own emotions and understand how to influence the emotions of others. Scientific research has proven that emotional intelligence is key to improving academic performance, strengthening social relationships, and building resilience in the face of challenges. 
Organized by 'Order Global', a leading professional coaching and consulting firm, the workshop was part of their social responsibility campaign 'Mind Your Mind', which aims to improve the mental health of adolescents and youth in Punjab. The workshop was held during 'Mental Health Month', highlighting the importance of emotional health during the early years.
Ms. Monica Geoff Phinney, Executive Director of Order Global and a change strategist with over 20 years of experience in education, healthcare and corporate sectors moderated the workshop. Class 11 and 12 students enthusiastically participated and reflected on how emotional intelligence not only affects academic life but also their overall well-being. 
"This workshop strives to empower students with the self-awareness they need to thrive, as well as foster a culture of camaraderie and mutual respect within the school community," emphasized Monica. Dr. Director of Ludhiana Christian Medical College in the program. William Bhatti was the chief guest and Deputy Director Dr. George Koshy was the chief guest. 
His presence made the occasion even more significant as he highlighted the important role of emotional intelligence. Earlier in the program, Dr. William Bhatti felicitated the students for their outstanding participation and appreciated their outstanding participation in the programme.
