
Punjabi Writers' Sabha launches Gurdev Pal's autobiography
Chandigarh: Punjabi Writers' Sabha Chandigarh today launched Principal Gurdev Pal's autobiography "Ruh Di Dooj: Dhadkan Da Roznamcha" at Punjab Kala Bhawan in a grand gathering attended by many important personalities associated with Punjabi literature, intellectuals, journalists and members of the Pal family.
Chandigarh: Punjabi Writers' Sabha Chandigarh today launched Principal Gurdev Pal's autobiography "Ruh Di Dooj: Dhadkan Da Roznamcha" at Punjab Kala Bhawan in a grand gathering attended by many important personalities associated with Punjabi literature, intellectuals, journalists and members of the Pal family. At the time of releasing the book, apart from writer Gurdev Pal, the function was presided over by Dr. Swarajbir, chief guest Dr. Sarabjit Singh, special guest Dr. Deepak Manmohan Singh, chief speaker Gurnam Kanwar, Punjabi Writers' Sabha President Deepak Sharma Chanarthal, General Secretary Bhupinder Singh Malik, A. Gurnam Kanwar said that the revolution within the writer has been revealed through words.
Deepak Sharma Chanarthal said that in today's era it is very difficult to find such love which is visible through this book. Bhupinder Singh Malik said that this book is a letter of truth. Eminent thinker and teacher Dr. Deepak Manmohan Singh said that a big heart is needed to take account of the beats. Principal Gurdev Pal, the author of the autobiography "Ruh Di Dooj: Dhadkan Da Roznamcha" written in a unique style, said that while describing the love relationships truthfully, she always held the arm of light and wrote it.
Punjabi Sahitya Akademi Ludhiana President Dr. Sarabjit Singh said that any ideology is incomplete without emotions.
Eminent writer, critic, thinker and playwright Dr. Swarajbir said that Gurdev Pal did not put any color on his emotions and created this book free from narrow interests.
Manmohan Singh Daun paid tribute to the scattered footsteps of the writer through one of his poems. Senior Advocate Manjit Singh Khaira said that this truth that has emerged from time and circumstances is worthy of worship. Dr. Kanwaljit Kaur Dhillon said that Gurdev Pal represents integrity, honesty and commitment. Amarjit Kaur Komal said that the writer's effortless style is unique. Balkar Sidhu called it a first-class autobiography. Siri Ram Arsh called it a document of love. Dr. Davinder Singh Boha said that the realization of the nourishment of the soul is the achievement of this book. Paramjit Kaur Param described the writer as capable of expressing herself with determination.
Emerging painter Meet Rangrez presented the portrait of the book's cover to writer Gurdev Pal.
