Samana, October 23 - Patiala Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav and District Police Chief Dr. Nanak Singh visited Samana and Gajewas grain markets and reviewed the purchase and payment of paddy. On this occasion, he assured the farmers that the farmers will not face any difficulty in the markets. 
The Deputy Commissioner said that due to the arrangements made by the Punjab government, the payment of the purchased paddy crop in the mandis is also being done quickly. DC Dr. Preeti Yadav and S.S.P. Dr. Nanak Singh told that there was some problem of lifting in the previous day which has been resolved by the Punjab government and the lifting of the goods purchased by the farmers has now started rapidly. He said that the agreements with the shellers have also been finalized and there is no problem with transport. 
DC and SSP appealed to the farmers and asked them to bring only dry crops to the markets and not to set the stubble on fire. On this occasion, SDM Tarsem Chand and DSP G.S. Officials of procurement agencies including Sikand were present.
