Una, May 16- Physical fitness test was successfully organized by the Industry Department for 10 posts of mining guard in Una district on Friday at Police Line Jhalera. This test was conducted with complete transparency and fairness with the cooperation of Police Department, District Sports and Youth Services Officer, Education Department and Health Department.
Una, May 16- Physical fitness test was successfully organized by the Industry Department for 10 posts of mining guard in Una district on Friday at Police Line Jhalera. This test was conducted with complete transparency and fairness with the cooperation of Police Department, District Sports and Youth Services Officer, Education Department and Health Department.
Mining Officer Neeraj Kant informed that a total of 299 applications were received for the prescribed 10 posts, out of which 192 candidates appeared in the physical test. Out of these, 146 candidates successfully passed the test by successfully completing the parameters of running, height, weight etc., while 46 candidates could not meet the prescribed standards. The passed candidates include 45 women and 101 men. Eligible candidates will be informed about the next stage of the selection process through departmental means in time.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar, DSP Headquarters Ajay Thakur and District Sports and Youth Services Officer Uttam Dod were also present during the examination. Medical ambulance and medical team were deployed on the spot to deal with any health related emergency.
The mining officer expressed gratitude to all the departments and their officers and employees who provided cooperation in organizing the examination.
