The condition of the link roads of Mukerian Assembly Constituency is getting worse day by day. For example, the condition of the link road from Harsemansar toll plaza to Hajipur is very pathetic. There are deep potholes in places, which are not being repaired, only soil is being filled. There are about 10 government schools and 3-4 government hospitals on this link road. Students, teachers and people of the area have to face many problems every day. This stretch of road of approximately 16 km length connects the town of Hajipur with the Jalandhar to Pathankot national highway. The people of this area have a strong demand from the administration and the government that it should be constructed immediately.
