Mahilpur, June 2- A special event is being organized on Wednesday, June 4 in connection with the annual memory of Mahant Ram Singh Ji and Sant Baba Man Singh Ji at Dera Bishnupuri Nangal Khurd of Hoti Mardan sect. Giving information in this regard, the current Chief Administrator Mahant Bikramjit Singh Ji said that in connection with this event being organized in the memory of great men, 14 Shri Akhand Paath Sahib were started today at Gurdwara Dera Bishnupuri by the Sangats from the country and abroad.
The Bhog of which will be on June 4. After the Bhog of the Paaths, Bhai Gurnek Singh Ji and Bhai Gursahib Singh Gurdaspur Ji will introduce the Sangat to the philanthropic lives of great men and connect them with the Almighty God, who is present in every particle of this universe and is taking care of all living beings.
It is noteworthy that Dera Bishanpuri located in Nangal Khurd village adjoining Mahilpur is a symbol of faith for the congregations of the country and abroad. Saint Baba Bishan Singh Ji, born in Nangal Khurd itself, built this place while doing penance in the village. Saint Bishan Singh Ji made two of his disciples, Sant Maan Singh Ji and Sant Ram Singh Ji, who were born in Nangal Khurd village itself.
These great men propagated Sikhism in the country and abroad. Along with this, they built Sant Bishan Singh Memorial Hospital in Mahilpur city and gave it to the government. Nowadays, under the able leadership of Mahant Bikramjit Singh, the current chief sevadar of Dera Bishanpuri Nangal Khurd, religious works as well as social welfare works are being done at this place.
In which the teeth of needy patients are treated and they are given free teeth. Skin diseases are treated, general checkup camps are organized. Clothes are distributed to the needy people. Ration is also given to the needy people. Along with this, trees are planted for the purity of the environment. Camps are also organized from time to time for the examination of bones and brain.
