Mohali: 80 units of blood were collected at a blood donation camp organized at Livasa Hospital, Mohali, on Saturday to mark World Blood Donor Day.
Anurag Yadav, CEO of Livasa Hospitals, stated, "Every unit of donated blood has the power to save multiple lives. On World Blood Donor Day, we salute the extraordinary generosity of the voluntary blood donors, NGOs, and motivators who are strengthening the healthcare system through their selfless service."
Facility Director Dr. Abhishek Garg remarked that voluntary blood donors are unsung heroes who save precious lives by donating blood without seeking any personal gain or publicity. He added that through awareness, recognition, and community participation, we can collectively ensure that no patient suffers due to a shortage of blood.
