Bathinda: A total of 80 patients were examined today during a free mega health check-up and obesity awareness camp held at Park Krishna Hospital, Bathinda.
During the camp, a team of doctors from Park Krishna Hospital—including Dr. Amit Garg (Associate Director – Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery) and Dr. Sushil Kotru (Chairman and Head – Endocrinology)—along with their supporting medical team, provided personalized medical advice, lifestyle counseling, and guidance on appropriate treatment options based on individual health conditions.
Dr. Amit Garg provided expert consultations to patients struggling with obesity, diabetes management, and obesity-related health issues.
He also counseled patients on comprehensive weight management, dietary adjustments, lifestyle changes, and advanced treatment options—including metabolic and bariatric surgery—for suitably selected patients.
The camp also focused on diabetes management, providing patients with guidance on maintaining healthy blood sugar levels, proper dietary practices, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of regular monitoring and medical consultation.
