Nawanshahr, January 27:- The 77th Republic Day celebration at Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab was a grand and memorable event. Chancellor Shri N. S. Riyat played a central role in the ceremony, hoisted the tricolor along with the university security team and teams of students, NSS volunteers of the university, various organizations. Participated in the march past and saluted the national flag. The entire gathering proudly sang the national anthem, promoting the spirit of unity and patriotism.
During his address, Chancellor Shri N. S. Riyat extended his heartfelt greetings to all the students and staff. Vice Chancellor Dr. A. S. Chawla appealed to the students and staff to keep the national flag and their country with high respect. He stressed on the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by the great martyrs for the cause of freedom and acknowledged the important role played by the leaders in shaping the Republic.
Dr Chawla also stressed on the importance of the Constitution for all of us and shared that Republic Day is not just a celebration but a national festival which should be celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal. It is noteworthy that Lamrin Tech Skills University was recognized by the District Administration by presenting a certificate for best social services in the fight against drugs and for the welfare of humanity and by the NSS unit for services.
The festival included various performances by the students showcasing their talent through patriotic songs, poems, speeches and Bhangra. All the students were felicitated with certificates and mementos. Sweets were distributed to mark the happy occasion, which created a sense of camaraderie and celebration. All senior officers, staff, other officials, employees and students joined the celebrations creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere at Lamrin Tech Skills University.
