4yearold Nirvair falls into borewell body recovered
Ambala:- The body of 4-year-old Nirvair Singh, who fell into a borewell in Dhanaura village here on Tuesday morning, was recovered on Wednesday. The rescue operation was completed at around 3:25 am but the boy was declared dead at the Civil Hospital in Ambala. Medical Officer Dr. Rishipal said that as soon as the boy was taken out of the borewell, a medical examination was conducted and he was immediately taken to the Civil Hospital. All efforts were made but he was declared dead at the hospital.
The body has been kept in the morgue for postmortem. There was also water in the borewell, so the real cause of death will be clear from the postmortem report.
It is worth mentioning that Nirvair Singh of Dhanaura village had fallen into a borewell in the village on Tuesday morning, a rescue operation was launched to save him. Police, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force and Army personnel were deployed and heavy machinery was pressed into service. Nirvair and his father Manjit Singh had gone to their fields around 6:30 am to give food to the boy's grandfather. While playing, he suddenly fell into the neighbour's borewell. Hearing his screams, his father and grandfather raised an alarm. Local residents and emergency response teams reached the spot but could not pull him out.
