36 million grant will strengthen the infrastructure of Bohan School Dr Ishank Kumar

Mahilpur: A Mega PTM (Parent-Teacher Meeting) was organized at Government Senior Secondary School, Bohan. Dr. Ishank Kumar, MLA from Chabbewal, attended as the chief guest and interacted with parents, teachers, and students. On this occasion, MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar stated that the Mega PTM has emerged as a significant platform where teachers, parents, and students participate with enthusiasm, making it a success. He added that through such events, parents receive information about their children’s studies, progress, and school activities, which strengthens the coordination between the school and parents.
The MLA mentioned that the Punjab government is continuously striving to provide quality education, modern facilities, and a better learning environment in government schools. The positive changes taking place in government schools have increased parents' trust, and an increasing number of people are enrolling their children in these schools. He encouraged the students to study diligently and achieve high goals in life.
Dr. Ishank Kumar announced that a grant of 3.6 million has been provided for various development projects to further strengthen the infrastructure of Government School, Bohan. He detailed that new classrooms have been constructed with 1.3 million in funds. Furthermore, 1.3 million has been allotted for the construction of a library building, and 1 million for the school hall, both of which are currently underway. He also mentioned that the school has been provided with two LED screens and eight computers to provide students with modern, technology-based education.
School Principal Malkit Kaur welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries and shared information about the school's academic, sports, and co-curricular activities. During the Mega PTM, parents were given detailed information regarding the students' studies, attendance, performance, and discipline, and their suggestions were also noted.
