358 yoga classes are running in the district under CMs Yogashala

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 28:- 358 yoga sessions are being conducted daily under CM's yogashala in the district, where more than 14500 people are benefiting from the yoga classes for a pleasant and healthy life.
Giving this information, District Yoga Coordinator Pratima Dawar said that yoga classes were started on 22 June 2023 in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) district. On this occasion, 76 yoga trainers are working in the district, who conduct five classes a day from morning to evening.
He said that no fee is charged for yoga classes and these classes are started in parks, community centers etc. A minimum of 25 members is required for a class.
He said that yoga trainers have recently given a special stage performance on the occasion of the 16th National Voter's Day celebrated at Amity University in the district under the leadership of Chief Electoral Officer Punjab Mrs. Anindita Mitra. Apart from this, during the district level Republic Day event organized at Martyr Major Harminder Pal Singh Government College, Mohali, yoga trainers have also attended through their special yoga presentation.
He said that CM Yogashala is a flagship initiative of the Punjab government, launched to provide free yoga education to citizens across the state. The program seeks to promote yoga as a people's movement by making it accessible to every household and encouraging people to adopt yoga as part of their daily lifestyle.
