275 patients eyes examined in operation camp
Nawanshahr:- The 26th free eye operation camp was organized by Shri Ram Sharanam Seva Sanstha at the local Shri Ram Sharanam Satsang Ghar, Lal Chowk, Nawanshahr. The camp was inaugurated by Sushil Kumar Puri, Vice President of All India Punjab National Bank Retired Officers Association Jalandhar Zone, by cutting the ribbon. Dr. JD Verma, Chief Servant of the service organization, said that 275 patients' eyes were examined in the camp by expert doctors of Shankara Eye Hospital Ludhiana.
100 patients were given free glasses in the camp and needy patients were also given free medicines. He said that eye operations of 19 patients will be performed by expert doctors at Shankara Eye Hospital Ludhiana. Dr. Verma said that the travel, accommodation, food and operation expenses of the patients will be taken care of by Shri Ram Sharanam Seva Sanstha, Nawanshahr.
On this occasion, apart from Dr. Mannat, Dr. Manpreet Singh, Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Dr. Dilraj Singh, Ayush, Rana, Master Hussan Lal, Ashok Sharma, Manohar Lal, Pradeep Joshi, Pradeep Dhingra, Suresh Gautam, Subhash Arora, Romi Ladoia, Deepak Verma, Naveen Verma, Karish, Sunil Bahl, Chetan Sharma, Suman Bajaj, Ranjana, Komal, Bharti, Neelam Verma, Neelam Mukhija, Surjit Kaur, Neena Devi and Lalita etc. were also present.
