Dhaka:- A 25-year-old Hindu youth, identified as Chanchal Bhowmik, died in a fire in Narsingdi, Bangladesh. The incident took place when he was sleeping in a garage and it caught fire.
Narsingdi Superintendent of Police (SP) Abdullah Al Farooq said that when the fire broke out inside the shop, a suspicious person was seen roaming in the area in the CCTV footage. The SP said, “We are examining the CCTV footage in which a person is seen roaming in the area. We are investigating whether the fire was caused by an external factor or due to an electrical fault.”
The Superintendent of Police said that the fire broke out inside the shop and the fire service department workers broke the shutters to save him, although he had already died by then. "We are still investigating everything and no arrests have been made so far," he said. Authorities are currently determining whether the fire was caused by an electrical fault or some other cause.
