Khanna- This morning, a PRTC bus was hit by a trailer going from the wrong side on the National Highway here. Both the vehicles were badly damaged in the accident and more than 25 people were injured. No casualties were reported during this incident.
According to the information received, the PRTC bus was going from Ludhiana to Patiala at around 10 am, in which about 40 students and women were involved. Giving information about the incident, driver Daljit Singh and conductor Harsimran Singh said that when the bus reached near Khanna Pristine Mall, suddenly a trailer coming from the wrong side hit the bus.
They said that with the help of passers-by, the passengers were immediately taken out of the bus and taken to a nearby hospital where their condition is said to be stable after first aid. People present at the spot said that this accident happened due to the mistake of the trailer driver.
