226 Families Receive Ownership Rights Under Mera Ghar Mere Naam Scheme

Banga:- Under the Punjab Government’s “Mera Ghar Mere Naam” scheme, Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi, MLA Banga Constituency, distributed ownership certificates to 226 beneficiary families of their houses in Village Atari, Banga.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Sukhi informed that under the “Mera Ghar Mere Naam” scheme, the beneficiaries have now received full legal ownership rights of their houses. Now they can take loans from banks on the basis of their property, can mortgage their houses to avail financial assistance, and can further improve their standard of living. This will not only provide them security but will also enable them to utilize their property rights in various other ways.
This scheme has given great relief to poor and needy families and will strengthen their economic and social condition. The villagers highly appreciated this initiative and termed it a people-friendly step. They said that this historic initiative resolves the long-pending property ownership issues, thereby granting legal ownership rights to the residents living on Lal Lakir (abadi land).
On this occasion, SDM Banga Vipin Bhandari, Naib Tehsildar Lovepreet Singh, BDPO Banga Adesh, District Council Member Shri Sohan Lal Dhanda, Pawanjeet Singh Sidhu (Halka Sangathan Incharge), Patwari Jagatpal Singh, ASM Jai Gopal Rana, Raghuvir Singh Sarpanch Atari, Prabhjot Singh Reader Tehsildar, Ravinder Singh, Kamaljeet Singh Mehli, Gurmell Singh Sahlon and other prominent personalities of the village were present.
