21st Special Gurmat Samagam organized at Gurdwara Tahli Sahib Village Suddha Majra
Nawanshahr, like every year, organized the 21st samagam of the series of Gurmat Samagams dedicated to the annual Mahan Kirtan Darbar to be held from 25 to 27 October on the occasion of the Parkash Purb of Jagat Guru Dhan Guru Nanak Sahib Ji at Gurdwara Tahli Sahib Village Fatehgarh alias Suddha Majra.
This time, the event was organized by Sant Baba Harbans Singh Baba Bachan Singh Kar Sewa Delhi Wale at this place in the Darbar Hall of Gurdwara Tahli. The event began in the evening with the recitation of Sri Rehras Sahib Ji. After that, the children of Gurmat Vidyalaya of Anandpur Sahib performed Gurbani Kirtan, and Hazuri Raagi of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Bhai Nirbhai Singh Ji delighted the Sangat by reciting the Amritmai Bani.
After him, the great scholar and storyteller of the Panth, Giani Sarabjit Singh Dhotian, beautifully narrated the Bani of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the history of his visit to different places during his visit to Assam and the events that took place there. Before this, he also shed light on the history of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji.
On this occasion, the Chief Sewadar of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society, Surjit Singh, requested the Sangat to attend the Mahan Kirtan Darbar being held in Nawanshahr from 25 to 27 October, and like every year, appealed to the Sangat to come out and drink Amrit Pan in large numbers during the Amritpan being held this year. At the end of the event, the Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society honored Giani Sarabjit Singh Dhotian, Sant Baba Harbans Singh Ji, Baba Bachan Singh Ji, Kar Sewa Delhi Wale, through the Chief Granthi.
Giani Kulwinder Singh was also honored for his valuable services to the society. Surjit Singh also thanked the Sangat and the Management Committee for their presence. The organizers also thanked all the members of the Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society. The stage management service was done by Tarlochan Singh Khatkar Kalan.
