Hoshiarpur:- The 20th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of King Edward Public School, Tuto Mazara was held in a grand and impressive manner. The event was conducted under the guidance of School Chairman Dr. Mahinder Singh Jaswal and under the leadership of Principal Asha Sharma and Principal Kulwinder Kaur Nadalon.
Dr. Naresh Kumar Arora (IPS), DGP Human Rights Punjab, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal (IAS), MLA, Punjab Legislative Assembly, was present as the Special Guest of Honor.
Apart from this, many dignitaries including Avtar Singh Shergill, DSP Pavlinder Singh, SMO Dr. Jaswant Singh, Principal Khalsa College Dr. Parvinder Singh, Surinderpal Sharma, Nirmal Singh, Swaran Jaswal, Malkit Parhar, Mahinder Bath, Balbir Atwal, Kirat Jaswal, Avtar Jaswal, Surinder Kaur Bains (Managing Director, SBS School), Medha Vashisht (Principal, St. Soldier School Mahilpur), SHO Mahilpur Jai Pal and Counselor Balwinder Marwaha made their special presence.
The main attraction of the function was the colourful cultural performances presented by the students which included Ganesh Vandana, Gujarati, Punjabi Virsa, Duck Dance, Pardesi Theme, Bhagat Singh Patriotic, Balloon Dance, Marathi, Malwai Dance, Bollywood, Garland + Classical, Puppet Dance, Classical, Police Theme, Sammi, Tamil, Disco, Ludi, Bengali, Haryanvi, Sufi, Rajasthani, Bollywood Fusion, Giddha and Bhangra. The audience applauded all the performances.
The stage management was handled effectively and efficiently by renowned Sufi singers Neel Kamal Mahilpuri, Monica Mehta, and school students Jiya Suman and Komal.
At the end of the program, the chief guest and other distinguished guests presented awards to meritorious students of the school for their outstanding performance in academic and co-curricular areas.
Principal Asha Sharma expressed her happiness at the success of the program and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the guests, parents, staff, and students.
