Garhshankar:- The 16th Shaheed Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Football Tournament and Athletics Competition is being organized from 17th November 2025 to 21st November 2025 at Government Senior Secondary School Garhshankar. Advocate Jasvir Singh Rai, President of Shaheed Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Football Club, said that famous teams of the area are reaching this five-day football tournament and famous players of high caliber will participate in the inter-state athletics meet.
Prominent personalities will be present as chief guests on different days in this tournament. Among them are Madam Namisa Mehta Halka Incharge Garhshankar BJP, Surinder Singh Bhulewal Ratha Former MLA Garhshankar, Dr. Jang Bahadur Singh Rai Member Interning Committee, Baldeep Singh Chairman Market Committee Garhshankar, Rashpal Singh Raju.
The prizes will be distributed at the closing ceremony of this tournament by Sardar Malvinder Singh Kang, Member of Parliament, Shri Anandpur Sahib, and Jai Krishan Singh Raudi, Deputy Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha on November 21.
