Hoshiarpur:- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has intensified its election activities for the Hoshiarpur Municipal Corporation elections to be held on July 5. On the last day of nominations, 11 BSP candidates filed their nomination papers from different wards with the Election Returning Officer.
On this occasion, BSP Punjab General Secretary and in-charge of Lok Sabha constituency Hoshiarpur **Contractor Bhagwan Das Sidhu** said that Harjit Kumar Ladi from Ward No. 8, Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur from Ward No. 9, Raman Kumar from Ward No. 10, Ranjit Kumar from Ward No. 12, Ramesh Kumar Patwari from Ward No. 16, Sohan Lal from Ward No. 18, Jaspal Kumar from Ward No. 22, Ranjit Kaur from Ward No. 23, Mrs. Priya from Ward No. 29, Mrs. Daljit Kaur from Ward No. 42 and Mrs. Neeta Rani from Ward No. 50 have filed their nomination papers.
Contractor Bhagwan Das Sidhu and Advocate Palwinder Mana instructed the candidates to go door to door to contact the voters and convey the party's policies to the people. He said that all the BSP candidates are hardworking, honest and will always stand by the people in their joys and sorrows.
He expressed confidence that the people of Hoshiarpur will give huge support to the BSP candidates who prioritize the development of the city and will make them win.
On this occasion, Som Nath Bains, Madan Singh Bains (incharge Hoshiarpur), Dr. Ratan Chand along with a large number of BSP leaders and workers were present.
