SAS Nagar, February 12- Mohali Police has arrested two members of a gang who were involved in stealing and selling motorcycles from outside CP 67 and Bestech Mall Sector 66, Mohali and recovered eight stolen motorcycles and two scooters from them.
Giving information in this regard, DSP City 2 Sr. Harsimran Singh Bal said that these persons have been arrested by a police team under the supervision of Inspector Gagandeep Singh, SHO of Police Station Phase-11. The arrested persons have been identified as Karandeep Singh alias Karan and Gurjeet Singh (both residents of village Bandala Kala, District Amritsar) and both of them used to steal and sell motorcycles from outside CP 67 and Bestech Mall Sector 66 Mohali.
He said that 8 motorcycles and 2 scooters stolen from various places have been recovered from these persons, which were sold near Amritsar area. The police have registered a case against both of them under Section 303 (2) of the Indian Penal Code and produced them before the honourable court.
