Shiromani Akali Dal President Giani Harpreet Singh's big initiative for flood-affected areas

Sri Amritsar Sahib:- The revived Shiromani Akali Dal President Giani Harpreet Singh visited the flood-affected areas today. Addressing the media at Sri Amritsar Sahib, Giani Harpreet Singh said that he is visiting the flood-affected areas with the party leadership. He said that due to the huge damage caused today, every Punjabi resident is going through mental stress. He thanked all the religious and social organizations that came forward to help in this difficult time from the bottom of his heart.

Addressing the media at Sri Amritsar Sahib, Giani Harpreet Singh said that he is visiting the flood-affected areas with the party leadership. He said that due to the huge damage caused today, every Punjabi resident is going through mental stress. He thanked all the religious and social organizations that came forward to help in this difficult time from the bottom of his heart. Giving information about the big initiative taken by the party, Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh Singh said that,
.The Shiromani Akali Dal will provide one lakh liters of diesel to the people of the flood-affected areas for water drainage and agricultural needs.
. Special support will be given for the repair of the houses damaged due to the floods. This repair will be done by the party cadre.
.The Shiromani Akali Dal will also provide copies, books and other stationery essentials for the children studying in the flood-affected areas.
.The buildings of the Guru Ghars have suffered major damage due to the flood, so separate efforts will be made.
.The Wazirs (Granthi Singhs) of the Guru Ghars have suffered financial losses, the party will contribute to their rehabilitation and financial support.
Giani Harpreet Singh, while specially thanking the Rakhra family, said that the Rakhra family has done a commendable job of helping the flood-affected families by providing Rs. 10 crore. The party workers themselves will distribute the assistance given by the Rakhra family to help the flood victims. Along with this, he also thanked Sardar Ravinder Singh who sent the first installment of Rs. 1 crore to help the flood victims. This amount will also be spent on the reconstruction of houses destroyed due to floods.
On the Rs 1600 crore package announced by the central government, he said that the amount announced by the Prime Minister is a joke, he questioned the Punjab BJP whether the Prime Minister had come to Punjab to make this joke.
Giani Harpreet Singh told the people of Punjab that although this natural disaster is very big, they will stand with the families in every way during those times when the affected families are not on their feet.
On this occasion, former minister Sardar Surjit Singh Rakhra, former SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur and Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal, former MP Rattan Singh Ajnala, Jathedar Gurpartap Singh Wadala, Jathedar Surinder Singh Bhulewal Rathan, SGPC members Bhai Manjit Singh and Satwinder Singh Tohra were present.
