Stolen 'Kalash' recovered from Red Fort, one arrested.

It is worth noting that on September 3, a 'Kalash' made of 760 grams of gold was stolen during a Jain religious function at 15 August Park. This Kalash, worth Rs 1 crore, is studded with 150 grams of diamonds, rubies and emeralds. A joint team of the North District Police and the Crime Branch is investigating the case. The police said that based on the clues, a team was sent to Hapur and the accused Bhushan Verma has been taken into custody.
A senior officer said, "On the information of the arrested person, the stolen urn has also been recovered and the accused is being brought to Delhi for questioning." The police said that the background of Verma, his associates and the motive behind the theft are being investigated. According to the police, the accused stole the urn at a time when people were busy welcoming Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
