September 8, Maur Mandi/Paigam-E-Jagat:- Former Punjab Cabinet Minister, Senior Vice President of Shiromani Akali Dal and in-charge of Maur Vidhan Sabha constituency Janmeja Singh Sekhon met the families whose houses and tubewells were damaged due to the broken drain in village Pitho recently and provided financial assistance in cash on his behalf. 
On this occasion, he said that the regional party of Punjab, Shiromani Akali Dal, is standing shoulder to shoulder with the people in this hour of distress.
He said that Punjab has suffered a lot due to floods and Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal is continuously visiting the flood-affected areas of Punjab, meeting the people and providing all possible help to the affected people. Meanwhile, the entire organization of village Pitho expressed its gratitude to former cabinet minister Janmeja Singh Sekhon for his support.
On this occasion, senior Akali leaders Gurjant Singh Pitho, former Sarpanch, Judge Singh Pitho, former Sarpanch, Sudagar Singh, Gurwinder Singh Sidhu Youth Leader, Soni Mann Pitho, Jassi Muhar, Sandeep Singh Bath, Kulwant Singh President, Bhola Singh Numberdar Jethuke, Ajaib Singh Badiala, Mandeep Singh and other leaders were present.
