Garhshankar 5 September - A delegation led by Darshan Singh Mattu, President of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Charitable Trust Garhshankar, met SDM Garhshankar Sanjeev Kumar Gaud today to discuss the major demands of the area. On this occasion, the delegation appealed to SDM Garhshankar and said that help should be given to the flood victims in the area on priority basis.
Apart from this, they demanded that 9 closed culverts in the city should be opened for smooth drainage of flood water in Garhshankar and that the closed drains and ditches should be cleaned. They demanded that compensation for the damage to crops and houses due to floods be given immediately.
On this occasion, President of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Charitable Trust Darshan Singh Mattu, President of Raju Welfare Society UK & Punjab Happy Sadhowal, President of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Sewa Society Goli Rocky Moila, Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar Lucky and Shinda Goli were present.
