Chandigarh- Kamlesh Banarasi Das former Mayor - Chandigarh Administration has taken an important decision to build a multipurpose stadium in Ram Darbar Colony. 
Thanking him, this decision fulfills the old demand of the residents of the area for the last 15 years. Kamlesh Banarasi Das former Mayor Chandigarh said that there is a wave of happiness among the people of Ram Darbar and surrounding areas due to this step of the administration.
The construction of this stadium will promote sports activities in the area. It will not just be a playground, but will become a center for encouraging community engagement and healthy lifestyle. Modern facilities will be provided in the stadium for various sports like cricket, football, athletics etc.
An official of the Chandigarh Administration said, "We are very happy to fulfill the long-standing demand of the residents of Ram Darbar. We believe that this stadium will provide an excellent platform to nurture young talent and showcase their abilities." 
The project is expected to start soon, and after its completion, it will prove to be an important asset for Ram Darbar Colony and the whole of Chandigarh. The youth will also bring glory to the country through sports. Our children have a lot of dedication and ability, we have seen this in 1997. I request the administration to build it soon.
