Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 16th September: As per the orders issued by the Punjab and Haryana High Court and the guidelines issued by the Director, Industries and Commerce Department, Punjab, Chandigarh, the date of drawing for issue of temporary licenses for setting up temporary cracker shops on the occasion of Diwali/Gurpurab has been fixed on 09th October at 12 noon.
District Magistrate Mrs. Komal Mittal said that only interested persons from District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar can download the application form uploaded under "Temporary License for Sale of Firecrackers" from the Punjab Government website https://punjab.gov.in/forms/ and submit their applications, along with at least two proofs of residence, at various service centers of District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar on or before 5.00 PM on 23, 24 and 25 September 2025. 
Applications received after the specified time will not be accepted. It is also clarified that a person can submit only one application. More than one application will not be admissible.
