Hoshiarpur:- Safai Karamchari Union under the leadership of Vice President Somnath Adia honoured MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa, Mayor Parveen Saini, Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattu and entire corporation staff and councillors for passing a proposal regarding insourcing sanitation and sewerage workers and increasing their salary. On this occasion, MLA Jimpa said that he has been raising his voice in favour and support of workers from the beginning and this is the first government which has given outsourced employees their due. He said that any process takes time, but he is happy that the Aam Aadmi Party government has taken a decision in favour of workers and provided them great relief. On this occasion, Vice President Somnath Adia, while expressing gratitude to the government and MLA Jimpa, said that he is happy that the government has accepted their long-pending demands and given justice to the employee class. He said that Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattu also made a lot of efforts in favour of workers and the government had to take such an important decision. For which on behalf of the entire union he thanks the government, MLA Jimpa, Mayor Parveen Saini, Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattu, all councillors and other staff.
