Hansi: A tree plantation and cow worship program was organized on Saturday at the 'Besahara Gaushala' (Shelter for Destitute Cows) near the Old Market Committee, Badsi Gate, Hansi, to mark the birthday of popular MLA Lion Vinod Bhyana and the Lions International District Environment Day.
The guests present at the event planted saplings, pledged to protect the environment, and highlighted the importance of serving cows. Attendees included President Lion Sanjay Bansal, Secretary Lion Praveen Garg, Treasurer Lion Bhushan Mehendiratta, MLA Lion Vinod Bhyana, Suresh Bansal, Surendra Banga, Deepak Mittal, Ashok Bhutani, Market Committee Chairman Lion Dinesh Dhawan, Gulshan Kumar (Bittu), Rajendra Kumar (Shanti), Arun Arya, President Mukesh Mundhalia, Vinod Saini, Naveen Thakur, Sahil Bhyana, Anshul Bhyana, Lukesh Bhutani, and Pappu Chugh, along with many other prominent citizens of the town.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Bansal remarked that trees are the foundation of our lives. He emphasized that planting as many trees as possible is the need of the hour for a clean and healthy environment. He added that merely planting saplings is not enough; it is the responsibility of every citizen to ensure their regular care so that future generations can inherit a clean and green environment.
At the conclusion of the program, all those present pledged their continued support for environmental conservation, cow service, and social welfare activities.
