Hoshiarpur:- On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the Sanatan Dharma Sabha, Beet area, organized a grand procession. Thousands of Shiva devotees participated and danced to devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva. The procession began in the morning after worshipping Lord Shiva at the Bhuriwalon Kutiya and concluded late in the evening at the Mata Sheetla Temple, Adda Jhungian.
As the procession began in Khuralgarh and continued through various villages in the Beet area, the number of devotees continued to grow, and Shiva devotees set up food stalls at various locations. The procession included grand tableaux depicting Lord Shiva and Goddess Kali.
The officials of the Sanatan Dharma Sabha also honored the dignitaries participating in the procession. During this, former MLA Luv Kumar Goldy, BJP Garhshankar constituency in-charge Nimisha Mehta, All India Jatt Mahasabha's state general secretary Ajaib Singh Boparai, Panchayat Samiti member Kamal Kataria, AAP leader Prince Chaudhary, social worker lecturer Pawan Sharma, Rajan Sharma Lochu, Sarpanch Ravindra Puri, Sarpanch Vijay Kumar Tabba, former Sarpanch Roshan Lal, Sanju Kochhar, Gaurav Kauchhar, Jaswinder Billa Verma, Dr. Naresh Kambalan, besides Sanatan Dharma Sabha officials Dr. Jasvir Singh Rana, Mahesh Puri, Gurudutt Sharma, Kesha Kambalan, Gaurav Puri, Dinesh Puri etc. were present.
