Hoshiarpur: A week-long program was organized at the ancient Mata Kalyani Temple on Jejon Road in Khanni village, Hoshiarpur district, by the temple committee members under the leadership of President Tilak Raj Khanni, with the cooperation of all the devotees. The program concluded today with great devotion. On the concluding day, a havan (fire ritual) and Kanya Pujan (worship of young girls) were performed by the committee members. Following this, prominent artists, including Pawan Jindal, Sandeep Udhanwalia, and Shyam Raja, sang hymns in praise of Goddess Kalyani.
On this occasion, President Tilak Raj informed that a free medical camp was organized by the Vishwa Manav Ruhani Kendra, Nawa Nagar Branch, Mahilpur. Free medicines were distributed to the patients. Baldev Singh, Pandit Ram Lubhaya, Suresh Kumar, Harbhajan Lal, Rajesh Kumar Raja, and other dignitaries, including Anil Agarwal, Joginder Pal Mainan, Dr. Lakhwinder Singh, Pandit Kailash, Babbi Anand, Rohan Vij, and members of the Mata Kalyani Welfare Society, along with residents of the town and surrounding villages, were present at various times throughout the week-long Bhandara.
