New Delhi: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today said that those who sacrificed their lives for the Ram temple in Ayodhya must have found peace today as the process of its construction has been formally completed with the hoisting of the saffron flag on the temple.
Speaking during the flag hoisting ceremony in the temple, Bhagwat said that the flag is always a symbol, and it took a long time to hoist such a tall flag in the temple, as it did in the construction of the temple. He said that many people had dreamed of this day and many sacrificed their lives for it.
Remembering the names of some people, Bhagwat said, “Today their souls must have found peace.” He said, “Those who used to work behind the scenes every day, also dreamed of Ram temple, now today when the rituals have been completed; the flag of ‘Ram Rajya’ has been hoisted.”
