Garhshankar:- US resident social worker Sardar Darshan Singh Pinka Ibrahimpur is constructing the main gate of Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar in the memory of his son late Jaspreet Singh Darar.
College Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that the foundation stone of the gate will be laid on Friday, November 14 at 10.30 am by Sardar Darshan Singh Pinka and Sardarni Paramjit Kaur USA in the presence of prominent personalities of the area.
He said that while Sardar Darshan Singh Pinka is constructing the luxurious gate at a cost of lakhs, lakhs of rupees have been donated to the college for the last several years for the financial assistance of needy students every year.
He said that with the construction of the luxurious gate being prepared by Sardar Darshan Singh Pinka, the appearance of the gate will enhance the college complex.
