Karnal, November 15: A team from the Civil Lines Police Station, led by Head Constable Rajiv Kumar, arrested the accused, Harsh, son of Surendra, a resident of Sector 16, Karnal, near Jat Bhawan, Sector 12. The stick used in the crime was recovered from his possession.
The investigating officer stated that on the night of October 28, 2025, the accused, with the intention of stealing iron rebar stored outside a house under construction, struck the watchman on the head with a stick, seriously injuring him, and then fled the scene. A case was registered against him at the Civil Lines Police Station.
The absconding suspects in the case were arrested by the police team and the stick used in the crime was recovered. The accused was presented before the Honorable Court and sent to the district jail.
