Hoshiarpur: District President Satish Wava stated that a series of meetings with party workers is underway across different wards to build and strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party's organization at the grassroots level. As part of this initiative, he visited Ward No. 33 to attend a meeting organized by Smt. Anita Kumari—a candidate for the municipal elections—where he boosted the morale of the workers and gathered feedback regarding the challenges anticipated in the upcoming elections.
He mentioned that, with an eye on the 2027 Assembly elections, all workers have been urged to work tirelessly to strengthen the party organization and to engage with local residents to help resolve their various issues.
Speaking on the occasion, former Minister Shri Tikshan Sud remarked that the people of Punjab are deeply frustrated with the Aam Aadmi Party's policies, which are harming the state; they now see the BJP as the only ray of hope capable of liberating Punjab from the menace of drugs, gangsterism, and rising debt. During the event, Shri A.S. Kang honored Shri Satish Wava, and certificates of appreciation were awarded to workers who had been working day and night for the elections, thereby boosting their enthusiasm.
