Hoshiarpur: A meeting of the Shri Bhagwan Parshuram Sena was held under the chairmanship of State President Ashutosh Sharma to express outrage over the brutal atrocities being committed against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Sharma said that the brutal murder of Deepu Chandra Das and the burning of his body alive reflects the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh, and the inhumane incident of rape of his sisters reveals the mindset of the Bangladeshis.
Details of the incident: In the Noakhali region of Bangladesh, a Hindu youth, Deepu Das, was beaten to death by a mob, and his body was set on fire. During the same incident, his sisters were gang-raped, which is part of the targeted violence against minority Hindus by Islamic fundamentalists. Sharma said that the incidents of atrocities against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh in recent times are creating a situation similar to Pakistan, where religious violence and insecurity have increased.
Such incidents are another link in a series of more than 1000 atrocities that have been ongoing since 2024, including attacks on temples and exploitation of women. The Parshuram Sena strongly and clearly demands that the central government immediately ensure the safety of Hindu minorities living in Bangladesh.
The Indian government should give a strong diplomatic warning to the Bangladesh government and make it clear that if the atrocities against Hindus there do not stop immediately, the Indian government will be forced to take strong international, diplomatic, and economic steps.
The Parshuram Sena also demands that the Indian government raise this issue at the United Nations and international human rights forums and send a clear message to Bangladesh that the genocide, persecution of Hindus, and heinous crimes against women will not be tolerated at any cost.
