Dhuri, September 8:- As part of the series of events being organised by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, a spectacular drone show was organised in Dhuri. Thousands of devotees gathered on the occasion and thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, which showcased a unique blend of modern technology and spirituality.
During the drone show, 500 drones created various captivating formations in the sky, effectively depicting the life, Bani and great philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. The formations emerging in the illuminated sky mesmerised the devotees and made the event memorable.
Addressing the devotees on the occasion, OSD to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Sukhveer Singh, said that the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji continue to be a source of inspiration for all humanity even today. He said that there is a need of the hour to inspire the younger generation and children to follow the path of humanity, equality, honest labour and communal harmony shown by Guru Sahib.
He said that the drone show was a unique initiative to connect devotees with the life, Bani and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. Thanking the Punjab Government and Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, he said that such drone shows are being organised in all 92 Assembly constituencies of Punjab to take the teachings and Bani of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji to the people.
On the occasion, Chairman of Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation Dalvir Singh Dhillon said that the great Bani and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji convey the message of equality, brotherhood, hard work and communal harmony to all humanity. He said that the events being organised by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji are a commendable initiative to take Guru Sahib's great teachings to every household and connect the new generation with his life and philosophy.
Adding further religious fervour to the event, the Dhadi jatha of Tarsem Singh Khetla presented vaaran in a powerful voice. The performance of the Dhadi jatha connected the devotees with Guru Sahib's ideological and spiritual heritage and added a special colour to the event.
On the occasion, Chairman of Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation Dalvir Singh Dhillon, SDM Dhuri Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh, Waqf Board member Dr. Anwar Bhasaur, Chairman of Gau Sewa Commission Ashok Lakha, Food Commission member Jasbir Singh Sekhon, Chairman of District Parishad Rachhpal Singh Bhullar, Chairman of Block Samiti Dhuri Ranyodh Singh, President of Nagar Council Dhuri Amarjot Kaur, District Planning Committee members Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, Gagan Jawandha and Anil Mittal, District Planning Committee member Naresh Singla, Rubal Bajwa and a large number of Dhuri residents and devotees were present.
